Fredy Tipan is a Professional Mountain Guide based in Quito, Ecuador.

He has summited over 800 peaks above 17,000 feet (5000m).

For over 23 years, Fredy has led successful expeditions in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, North America, Nepal and Europe.

Fredy is a sought after guide and certified with the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA- UIAGM). Fredy was the third Ecuadorian to receive this distinction in 2006.

Fredy has completed notable climbs in South & North America including the South Face of Aconcagua, Denali, Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, AmaDablam, Alpamayo and other extraordinary mountains in the world.

As a guide, Fredy’s even-keeled temperament allows him to handle stressful situations on the mountains. His depth of experience combined with his easy-going nature makes him one of the most sought after guides in the world.
